Austrian telematics provider successful in Bremen

Austrian telematics provider successful in Bremen

Entfernung zwischen Anbieter und Kunde kein Hindernis im Test Individuelle und jederzeit erweiterbare Lösung überzeugte den Anwender

Individual and extensible solution at any time convinced the user employees, who during working hours make a small detour with a company car for own errands?

The thought of it might make some entrepreneurs worry. But after all, you cannot always be there always and everywhere.
So how keeping the overview without having to spend a lot of time and effort, but nevertheless remaining reliable and effective without large personnel input and corresponding costs? With such questions a telematics solution should be considered. Such a system can provide help.

A compact solution according to your wishes
Claus found what he was looking for at the Austrian company Rosenberger Telematics. "A telematics solution was out of the question for me as the standard solution", he says. "I did not want to use cannons to shoot on the sparrows" - an extensive system with various functions was not the right choice for Claus, he rather wished for a special telematics solution tailored to his needs. At Rosenberger Telematics he met attentive conversation
partners. "The responsible consultant has listened to his ideas and implemented them," Claus says. Of course the distance is very long - CBT is located in Northern Germany, Rosenberger Telematics in Austria – but this has by no means become a problem. The consultants of Rosenberger Telematics have often been there on site, Claus remembers. The installation of the equipment was also "really great" and also "I felt very well taken
care of with technical problems".

The easy way to reduce costs
Diesel costs could also be reduced - not unimportant in times of constantly rising fuel
prices. "I can now see whether the engine is on or off," reports Claus. If now the engine
runs without being used, then he can now react and save money in this way. In addition, the handling is extremely simple, even for users who - like Claus – have had no previous experience with telematics systems. "The visualization is also very easy," says Claus, who simply has to click on a new tab on his screen in order to have the data. "Within ten minutes", it would be possible to understand the system even if you have never had to
deal with it before, Claus enthusiastically describes the work with its telematics solution

If a device was broken, it was enough to call Austria and inform them that a new device
was needed. He had also always had the same contact persons, whom he could contact
at any time by telephone or by e-mail, says the CEO. And he always set the way:
"I was the one who said where the journey was going." The solution now works "smoothly". As a first-time user of a telematics system, Claus appreciates the the quality of good advice even more.

A permanent view on the company
On the screen, Claus tracks when an employee registered, for example. Also operations at the customer site can be seen: How long did the employee work for the customer? Claus receives valuable information like this automatically thanks to the new telematics solution.
Claus praises the solution for even reducing personnel costs. Simply going to the
supermarket during working hours was no longer possible. "In the past, the employees
took advantage thereof," Claus remembers. These times are now over. In the personnel
area, Claus found further potential savings.

"In the past, we had to type every single daily report, and we laboriously put them together in an Excel spreadsheet." Now the data is received in real time via the telematics system, "that means transparency and time saving".

Conclusion
Claus is fully satisfied with the integrated system, which is fully tailored to the needs of its company. Rosenberger Telematics has already provided him with further additional features: An interesting module would be, for example, to prevent diesel theft. Claus explains the principle of this additional function as follows: "If the engine is stopped and the display reads that the amount of diesel is declining, it is clear that someone is
stealing." The additional features can easily be added but Claus is still happy with the previous solution. "One must also consider whether it is profitable. Do I need this additional feature to be successful?"
So far, he has not yet made this decision for himself - but what is not, yet can still be.
